For our phonics lesson today we were looking at the AT sound. First we had to think of as many words as we could that had the AT sound in them. To help me with this I think of words that rhyme. We then worked together to find words that belonged to the AT family and had to circle them on the worksheet. Then we had to fill in the missing AT words in sentences. We made a word ladder, then wrote a paragraph using some of the AT words we had found. We also had silly sentence dictations, this is when Mrs Linda says a silly sentence, we have to repeat it, then write it on our whiteboard. I really enjoy doing the silly sentence dictation, its lots of fun.
